About Us

Janice Spencer

Janice Spencer joined the D&D Bookkeeping Inc. team in 2017. As our receptionist, she has excelled at being our ‘office mother’.  She brings to the table 15 years of gained experience within the hospitality, customer service and retail industries. Janice attended the Community College, Truro campus and Akerley campus, taking Foundation Accounting, and Business Information and Technology.  Upon graduating, she accepted an office position within a manufacturing and transportation industry, gaining experience and putting her newfound knowledge to work! She has a passion for learning and is continuously pursing new talents.

She has the perfect mixture of warmth and humour to keep our office environment friendly and welcoming. Janice is the first fun loving face you will see, and the first chipper voice you will hear upon contacting our office. She goes above and beyond to truly make D&D clients feel at home, with friendly conversation over a hot cup of coffee (tea).

Janice is a loving wife and mother; having one adult son, and the younger two four legged members of the family! Being very family orientated, she enjoys spending time with close and extended relatives, long road trips, outdoor activities and gardening.
